I have been in awe of the majestic Clydesdale since I was a little girl thrilled to be able to pet the Budweiser Clydesdales on one of their visits to San Francisco. I still have the old black and white snapshots my mother took of me reaching way up to pet that lovely soft nose. Imagine my excitement when my husband was intrumental in bringing the health care for the Budweiser's Clydesdales to the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine while he was the Dean.
A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME is a tribute to the beautiful Clyde mares I was introduced to by Barry Farrell, the Budweiser Head Herdsman, and those of the Castagnasso Clydesdales of Michigan. The piece has been cast in both bay and black, and the mare and filly are available individually below.
