HARNESSING MAJOR depicts the final stage of preparing "Major" to be harnessed for a show. I have aged well-known Michigan Belgian breeder, Dan Creyts, about 20 years from the way he looked when he and his sister, Carlene, taught my then teenaged daughter, Diane, to groom and show their Belgians. To create a scotch collar that actually fit, I wrapped saran wrap around the neck of the already cast "Major" and slid the clay collar over his head to see if it would seat correctly. When combined with MAJOR UNDERTAKING and MAJOR READY TO HARNESS, HARNESSING MAJOR completes the trio that comprise what I call my MAJOR TRILOGY.
