PORTRAIT OF PYRAMIDE is a tribute to a beautiful Hanovarian mare that was an Olympic dressage contender before she contracted EPM (so-called Possum Disease).
The portrait was commissioned after she regained her bloom following successful treatment by my veterinarian daughter, Diane. Her owners are so devoted that they have continued maintenance treatment even though she will never be sound to ride.
I am very honored to have had the United States Dressage Federation request to exhibit a casting of her in their Museum at the Kentucky Horse Park.
