Since I like to work on more than one project at a time, I usually have several pieces in the clay in various stages of completion. If you are interested in one of them, just contact me and I will be happy to give your the pre-casting price and a projected completion date.

NAPTIME is a portrait of Chaos, the same Clydesdale colt portrayed in my Little Rolling Clydesdale Colt. The portrait of Chaos taking a nap is sized so he can be displayed with Daisy, the Clydesdale mare in my bronze A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME. Measures: 6" x 2" x 4", Pre-Casting Price $800

FLAKE OUT is a portrait of my beloved Bullmastiff, Reggie (alias Reg Monster) in her favorite pose as she watches me work on my sculpture. She looks so totally comfortable that I just couldn't resist sculpting her.

RESTING BUCK is the third of the Whitetail deer that I have undertaken as maquettes for a 1/2 life size Garden Memorial. He is the deer that the family has chosen, so he will also be cast in the larger size.

OKAPI FAMILY. I have been fascinated by Okapi, the only living relative of the Giraffe, since I first saw a pair at the Lincoln Park Zoo in 1958. The deep mahogany color of their bodies combined with their zebra striped legs made Europeans think their hides were some kind of forgery when French monks brought some home in the early 1900's. The extremely shy animals only live in the rain forests of the Congo basin where they are a primary food source for the pygmy. Now they along with the pygmy and the rare forest elephant are all in grave danger because of the warfare embroiling the region. Cincinnati Zoo and San Diego Zoo both have breeding herds that provided me with reference photos.

BABY YVONNE. The two month old baby white rhino born at the Knoxville Zoo on my 32nd wedding anniversary is my namesake. Her birth was significant because as the first offspring of a wild caught male, she represents a whole new bloodline in the battle to reserve her endangered species. My late husband Hyram, "adopted" her for me to draw to my heart's content. This little sculpture is from my drawings of her at 2 months old.
