The Little Bigfoot Series grew out of the Littles Series. The tiny hooves of many of the Littles, especially the babies such as the Itchy Colt and Baby Burro, make them very difficult to balance on uneven surfaces. Since none of the Littles are highly detailed, serious sculptures, but rather loose representations of animals I have known, they lend themselves to being created with exaggerated features such as their feet. Watching Baby Clydesdale "Chaos" roll with his oversized feet in the air and remembering my namesake, Baby White Rhino "Baby Yvonne" bouncing around on her big feet were my inspiration.
